<>一位来自南非观鸟会的朋友给大家寄来的他的作品，不久以后他将来福州和大家交流，希望大家跟贴时尽量用英语，以便他能看懂并回答。</P>
<>Hi Hoperoad and all at the Fujian Bird Watching Club,</P>
<>While visiting my native country of South Africa last year I was able to take a number of photos of the African Penguin colony at Boulders.Boulders is a small village on the Atlantic Ocean near the small town of Simonstown.It is in the Western Cape Province about one hour from the city of Cape Town.African Penguins(Spheniscus demersus) are listed as"Vulnerable"in Birdlife International's Red Data book.There are only two colonies of African Penguin found on the African mainland and both are in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.All other colonies are found on islands close to the Southern African coastline.</P>
<>Here are a number of photos of these beautiful seabirds.Enjoy them,and thank you for allowing me to share these photos of this wonderful African bird with you.</P>
